How do you currently assess the current status and developments in the marine coatings and technical services?
The marine coatings and technical services sector is rapidly evolving due to stricter environmental regulations, sustainability demands, and advances in technology. The focus is shifting from standalone products and services to integrated, performance-driven solutions that combine coatings, maintenance, compliance. Overall, the industry is becoming more data-driven, efficient, and collaborative, with greater emphasis on lifecycle performance and environmental responsibility.
What are your thoughts concerning the current the effect and footprint of the geopolitical tensions in the region effect on the shipping industry?
Tensions in the Middle East are affecting major shipping routes such as the Strait of Hormuz and the Red Sea, leading to vessel rerouting, longer journeys, and less reliable schedules. This has increased shipping costs, insurance premiums, and freight rates, while also limiting supplying raw materials for the factories in the region.
The effects are being felt worldwide, especially in energy supply chains and logistics, pushing companies to become more flexible and improve operational resilience.
We are trying to fill this gap by putting extra efforts to and open discussions with our clients.
Looking ahead, what are the key opportunities and trends you believe will shape the future of the marine services industry?
Key opportunities and trends shaping the future of the marine services industry include digital transformation through AI, predictive maintenance, and real-time monitoring to improve efficiency and reduce downtime. Sustainability will also play a major role, with growing demand for eco-friendly solutions and compliance with stricter environmental regulations.
In addition, the industry is moving toward more integrated, end-to-end services, while geopolitical and supply chain shifts require greater adaptability. Overall, innovation, digitalization, and sustainability will drive the industry forward.
