West Coast Marine Port Services Company announced the arrival of tugboats Sahel 281, Sahel 282, Sahel 283, Sahel 284, and Sahel 285 at Jeddah Islamic Port, marking a key step in enhancing the company’s marine port service fleet and boosting operational efficiency.
These tugboats are part of seven newly built vessels designed to deliver reliable performance across various marine operations. Each tugboat offers high maneuverability, measuring 28 meters in length and 13 meters in width, with a bollard pull capacity of 83 tons, powered by 5,050-kilowatt engines, providing exceptional towing and marine support capability.
The company stated that this milestone aligns with its strategic plan to modernize port services, improve operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with the highest international standards of safety and maritime performance.
