Mr. Waleid Gamal El-Dien, Chairman of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE), continued his activities at the end of his promotional tour in the Japanese capital, Tokyo, where he held a series of intensive meetings with several leading Japanese companies operating in the fields of heavy industries, food production, synthetic fibers, and infrastructure;
Kawasaki Heavy Industries: one of Japan’s major conglomerates specializing in the manufacturing of heavy equipment, transportation systems, and energy solutions.
Megmilk Snow Brand Co., one of Japan’s largest companies in the food and dairy products industry.
Kanematsu Corporation: a leading Japanese company engaged in trade, integrated industries, and renewable energy project components.
Toray Industries, Inc., one of Japan’s major corporations operating in the chemical, synthetic fiber, and composite materials industries.
Mr. Waleid Gamal El-Dien also met with the CEO of the Japan Overseas Infrastructure Investment Corporation for Transport & Urban Development (JOIN).
The meetings were held within the framework of the SCZONE’s efforts to attract Japanese investments and enhance industrial and technological partnerships within SCZONE.
The meetings were attended by Mr. Ragy El-Etreby, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Japan, and Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Gawad, Minister Plenipotentiary for Trade Affairs in Tokyo.
