Saudi Arabia and Iraq Strengthen Trade through Dammam-Umm Qasr Port Link
The Saudi Ports Autority (Mawani) has announced a significant new initiative to connect King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, with Umm Qasr Port in Iraq.
This move is a key step in Mawani's ongoing efforts to strengthen Saudi Arabia's trade relations with Iraq while improving its global standing on the maritime network connectivity index.
The new link between Dammam and Umm Qasr is expected to play a vital role in facilitating smoother and more efficient trade between Saudi Arabia and Iraq. As Iraq remains a key trading partner, the route will help reduce transit times and bolster economic collaboration between the two nations.
