DNV Inaugurates Regional Headquarters in Saudi Arabia
DNV has announced today the official inauguration of its regional headquarters in Saudi Arabia, a milestone made achievable with the generous backing of the Ministry of Investment.
CEO Regional HQ Middle East & Africa Ian Edwards stated that the headquarters will oversee operations of 18 DNV offices across 8 countries and will be located in Al Khobar where DNV is currently outfitting a modern office in Turki Bin Abdulaziz Al Fardan Tower. The new office will complement DNV’s existing office in the same building and provide 25 new workstations alongside state of the art meeting facilities and a staff canteen.
This announcement came during DNV's 2nd Annual Marine & Offshore Seminar held today February 27, 2024 in the Mövenpick Hotel in AL Khobar, Dammam. In his welcome message, Edwards said that this milestone represents DNV’s unwavering belief in the potential of this dynamic region.
He added: “DNV’s 41-year voyage in the Kingdom, starting from our establishment here in 1983, stands as a testament to our unwavering commitment. I personally very much look forward to being based here, leading the efforts to make an even greater impact for Kingdom, our partners and for DNV in the region.”

Remarkable Growth
Edwards shared DNV's remarkable growth in Saudi Arabia, with 113% revenue growth in 2023 and a total of 367 DNV employees now in the Kingdom.
