The meeting came to discuss prospects for cooperation, especially concerning both the projects planned and established within SCZONE in various sectors, most notably green fuels, fertilizers, cement, iron, and steel under the EU Border Carbon Tax Amendment Mechanism (CBAM).

This entails the need for concerted efforts and unification of visions to support the green transformation in the industry and to promote Egyptian exports to the European Union countries following the new environmental requirements. The meeting also dealt with the steps SCZONE follows to localize the green fuel industry and its feeding industries, especially in light of the success of the export of the first shipment of green ammonia abroad produced inside the first green fuel plant in the economic zone.
