General cargo ship AMANOS is apparently in trouble in Black sea, in Romanian and Bulgarian waters. Romania maritime authorities on Aug 26 were alerted on ship’s condition and status of the ship, but the ship didn’t request assistance and more, refused any help offered by Romanian SAR agency ARSVOM. The ship looks like she is suffering water ingress in fore starboard side, but still being under way, though for some time around midnight she had to anchor off Romanian coast. During the night Aug 26-27 she sailed into Bulgarian waters, and as of 1520 UTC was moving along Bulgarian coast, some 0.8 nm off the shore. AMANOS is en route from Ukrainian Kiliya to Tekirdag Turkey.
