Bureau Veritas announces the opening of a Net Zero center of excellence, with the support of Envision Digital. Its purpose is to address the challenges of clients seeking to reduce their energy consumption, decarbonize their activities and make their claims traceable. The center will help organizations make significant progress toward achieving their Net Zero commitments through digitized, verifiable and certifiable processes. By partnering with Envision Digital, Bureau Veritas will benefit from the expertise of a world leading company in carbon footprint monitoring and reduction.

Given their customers' expectations in terms of decarbonization and current transparency challenges, Bureau Veritas and Envision Digital, technology leader in Artificial Intelligence and IoT (AIoT) serving decarbonization and Net Zero objectives, will combine their know-how to develop an integrated energy management and carbon monitoring service offered within a Net Zero center of excellence.

The center will meet three needs:

• Real time certification of carbon emissions to ensure credibility and facilitate non-financial reporting (CSRD, ESG, etc.)
• Achievement of defined energy and carbon objectives, while optimizing costs (monitoring and optimization of carbon emissions, commitment to results on expected savings, etc.)
• Funding of the required investments for carbon emissions monitoring (supply of sensors, installation of the platform, energy-carbon management service). This is via the Energy Savings Certificates program, for which Bureau Veritas is one of France’s leading experts via its subsidiary Capital Energy.

The creation of the Net Zero Center of Excellence is a new milestone in the collaboration between the two companies since 2021, when the launch of their partnership was announced.
