Mubadala announces gas discovery offshore Indonesia
Mubadala Petroleum confirmed a new 390-ft gas column find at the Timpan-1 exploration well 150 km offshore North Sumatra in Indonesia, Mubadala announced July 13.
The Timpan-1 exploration well is operated by partner Harbour Energy.
Mubadala said these findings are especially important as an indication that the adjacent fields, the Andaman I and South Andaman, which Mubadala operates with 80% interest, will also include material underexplored resources.
