Oman Maritime, Ports and Energy Forum 2025
The Oman Maritime, Ports and Energy Forum has been created to highlight the skillsets and commercial opportunities available across the Sultanate of Oman’s ports, energy, shipping, maritime logistics and bunkering sectors.
This important event will give maritime stakeholders a unique chance to see how Oman’s maritime-related industries are responding to the many opportunities created by changing global trade flows, technological change, global regulation, and the energy transition.
By profiling the resources and expertise available in Oman – and the wider Middle East – the Forum will allow companies from outside the region to understand the potential and scope for business opportunities, to engage with relevant companies and organisations, and begin all-important commercial discussions.
Commenting on the date change for the event, Lesley Bankes-Hughes, Managing Director of ship.energy, said: ‘We have had a surge of interest in the run-up to the Forum, with many more companies and organisations wishing to be part of this first such event in Oman.‘ As such, I have taken the decision to move the Forum to a new date in 2025, which will be confirmed in the coming days. This will give us time to complete the processes required for collaboration with new entities and to expand the conference agenda.
‘I would like to thank our sponsors and speakers for their ongoing commitment to the event. It is my opinion that the widening of collaboration with key Omani and international stakeholders can only add to the success and impact of OMPEF.’
The inaugural Oman Maritime, Ports and Energy Forum will showcase the Sultanate’s key port, shipping and bunkering infrastructure, with a focus on Oman’s:
- Energy supply and delivery networks
- Four strategically located ports
- Logistics and storage facilities
- Agency services
- Growing importance as a safe and reliable bunkering location
- Shipping and its journey towards a sustainable, greener future.
This exciting event will consist of a conference, tailored breakouts and workshops and focused training.
It will also provide a unique opportunity to meet and engage with key shipping, ports and bunkering companies and government leaders from Oman and elsewhere in the Middle East.
