Posidonia 2024
Posidonia, the international shipping exhibition, one of the major calendar events of the shipping industry since 1969, is renowned for the networking opportunities and contacts made on the busy exhibition stands, the deals concluded, and the relationships formed for successful future business.
Posidonia 2024 will take place 3-7 June 2024 in Athens, Greece and will once more attract the most influential personalities from the Greek and international shipping community and major companies and organisations active in all sectors of the shipping industry.
Exhibitors will be ready to do business with Greek owners, who operate the largest fleet globally of over 5,000 vessels, the largest under the control of any national group. When visiting Posidonia, the Greek owners are keen to evaluate new technologies and equipment and to develop partnerships for their demanding fleet expansion and renewal programmes. No other shipping event is attended by as many Greek and international shipowners and shipping executives.
During Posidonia week, a number of networking sporting events take place including, the Posidonia Cup sailing race in Faliron Bay, Piraeus, the Posidonia Shipsoccer Tournament, a one-day 5x5 soccer tournament for the shipping industry, the Posidonia Golf Tournament, the Posidonia Running Event in Piraeus as well as the Posidonia 3x3 Basketball tournament.
Posidonia is organised under the auspices of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs & Insular Policy, the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping, and the Union of Greek Shipowners, and with the support of the Municipality of Piraeus and the Greek Shipping Co-operation Committee.
