Pole Star Global has introduced an integrated ecosystem built on data, analytics, and generative intelligence to help maritime organizations make informed decisions faster. The launch combines three new solutions designed to simplify how companies, governments, and financial institutions interact with trusted maritime information.
Maritime intelligence company Pole Star Global has launched a new ecosystem that brings together analytics, real-time data, and generative intelligence to transform how the industry manages information. The company introduced three interconnected products, Meridia, Meridia IQ, and Insights Data Products, creating a single environment that allows users to access, analyze, and act on maritime intelligence with greater efficiency.
Meridia serves as the foundation of the system. It consolidates port, zone, and vessel analytics into one platform, allowing operators to monitor congestion, arrivals, and fleet performance in real time. The platform replaces fragmented systems with a unified source of information and helps users automate routine reporting.
Complementing this is Meridia IQ, a new generative intelligence assistant that lets users query vessels, ports, or fleets in natural language. It draws responses from across Pole Star’s data ecosystem without requiring advanced data skills, offering quick and accessible insights for decision-makers.
Rounding out the trio, Insights Data Products provide ready-to-use maritime datasets available via API or email. The datasets integrate easily into common analytics tools such as Tableau or Power BI, and can be refreshed in real time, daily, or weekly depending on user needs.
Pole Star’s ecosystem builds on a vast data infrastructure that connects to 60% of the global commercial fleet through its hardware. It integrates terrestrial, satellite, and roaming AIS data along with proprietary signals, all supported by enterprise-grade security and flexible access through web and API channels.
“With Meridia, Meridia IQ, and Pole Star Insights, we’re redefining maritime intelligence,” said Matt Morgan, Chief Technology Officer of Pole Star Global. “Our goal is to give every organization the ability to flip to the answer key in their business — instantly, securely, and intelligently.”
The launch underscores Pole Star’s continued push to provide an integrated digital foundation for the maritime sector. By combining trusted data with accessible intelligence, the company aims to help maritime professionals streamline compliance, improve operational clarity, and make faster, more confident decisions.
