Baseblue’s office in Groningen, Netherlands, will join Dan-Bunkering, and operations will continue under the Dan-Bunkering name with a seamless transition for customers. The integration aligns with Bunker Holding’s Fit for Future strategy.
By integrating this business entity under the Dan-Bunkering Europe umbrella, Dan-Bunkering aims to reinforce its presence in the European bunker market – enhancing the value offered to customers and business partners.
“Bringing the two teams together is consistent with our strategy and Bunker Holding’s ambition to streamline operations and strengthen alignment across our teams. We are very confident that the vast experience and local know-how, that the team in the Netherlands will bring into Dan-Bunkering, will enhance team collaboration in Europe and eventually create an even stronger platform for Dan-Bunkering to serve its customers,” says Anders Grønborg, CCO of Bunker Holding.
Stronger regional setup
Uniting the teams in Europe under one roof will strengthen Dan-Bunkering’s regional setup and solidify their combined stake in the market, ultimately enabling the company to deliver even greater value and excellent service to customers throughout Europe.
For customers and suppliers, the transition is designed to be seamless. Existing activities and relationships handled out of the office in the Netherlands will continue, now as part of Dan-Bunkering and with full access to the combined strength of the broader organisation and a wide range of capabilities.
“The integration of the Groningen office marks an important step in our journey towards moving closer together within the Bunker Holding Group. At Dan-Bunkering, we really look forward to welcoming our new Dutch colleagues and harvest the synergies from joining forces,” says Claus Bulch Klausen, CEO of Dan-Bunkering.
For both teams, it will be business as usual and headed by Hans Lind Dollerup, Managing Director of Dan-Bunkering Europe.
This integration follows a similar in the Eastern Mediterranean in November, in which Baseblue’s offices were integrated into another Group brand, KPI OceanConnect.
