Navantia and AD Ports Group (ADX: ADPORTS), a leading global enabler of trade, logistics, and industry, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore potential areas of collaboration for future naval projects, with a particular focus on developing infrastructure to maintain vessels at Khalifa Port.
The MoU was signed at Navantia Headquarters in Madrid by Gonzalo Mateo-Guerrero, COO of Navantia, and Captain Ammar Al Shaiba, CEO of the Maritime & Shipping Cluster at AD Ports Group.
This strategic partnership also covers technology transfer, logistics, and training, strengthening both organizations’ capabilities in supporting naval operations and advancing maritime excellence.

By collaborating with Navantia, we aim to enhance vessel maintenance infrastructure and promote advanced naval solutions at Khalifa Port,” said Captain Ammar Al Shaiba, CEO of the Maritime & Shipping Cluster, AD Ports Group.
