Kuwait Ports Authority held a coordination meeting yesterday, Saturday, chaired by its Director General, Sheikh Khaled Salem Al-Sabah, with the participation of representatives from shipping agencies, as part of efforts to keep pace with the geopolitical developments in the region.
The meeting discussed mechanisms to enhance coordination to ensure the reception of cargo and the continued flow of supply chains through the authority’s commercial ports, thereby maintaining operational efficiency and stability in maritime traffic.
The meeting was attended by the Assistant Director General for Ports Affairs, along with the heads of operational departments, where readiness levels and the measures in place to address regional developments and their potential impact on maritime transport were reviewed.
