Mr. Ahmad Mohammad Al-Assasleh officially assumed his duties as Director General of the Jordan Maritime Commission, following the taking of the legal oath and the issuance of the Royal Decree appointing him as Director General of the Commission.
Al-Assasleh stated that the Royal confidence placed in him represents a strong motivation to build upon the Commission’s achievements and further strengthen its institutional performance in line with Jordan’s ongoing modernization and development agenda.
He emphasized that the coming phase will focus on advancing the maritime sector through the implementation of strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing service quality, strengthening maritime safety and security, streamlining procedures, accelerating digital transformation, and improving the competitiveness of Jordan’s maritime sector, in line with the Economic Modernization Vision and the Royal directives.
Following the commencement of his duties, Al-Assasleh met with the Commission’s directors and employees, underscoring the importance of teamwork, institutional excellence, innovation, transparency, and effective partnership in achieving the Commission’s strategic objectives and serving the national interest.
