DryDel Shipping announces the Naming and Delivery of M/V CAPELLA, the company's fourth newbuilding vessel delivered in 2026 and the second newbuilding constructed by OSHIMA SHIPBUILDING CO., LTD.
M/V CAPELLA, with a deadweight of 42,800 dwt, a 10.5m draft, a high cubic capacity combination, and onboard grabs, offers substantial cargo intake capacity, supporting a broad range of cargo requirements and commercial operations.
Built to the latest super ECO design, the vessel incorporates advanced technologies that enhance fuel efficiency and operational performance.
The delivery further strengthens DryDel Shipping's relationship with Oshima Shipyard, reflecting continued cooperation and shared long-term objectives.
Earlier this year, DryDel Shipping signed its third newbuilding contract with Oshima Shipyard for a next-generation 64,000 dwt Ultramax vessel, scheduled for delivery in 2030, reaffirming the company's confidence in Japanese shipbuilding.
DryDel Shipping extends its appreciation to the teams at OSHIMA SHIPBUILDING CO., LTD., the DryDel Shipping team ashore and at sea, and all parties involved in the successful delivery of M/V CAPELLA.
