In line with the directives of H.E. the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt to transform Egypt into a global logistics hub, and under the continuous guidance of H.E. Lieutenant General Eng. Kamel El-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport, Alexandria Container and cargo handling company proudly announces the official inauguration of its Logistics Services Center at the Commercial Yard.
The opening ceremony was held in the presence of Mr.Ahmad Almutawa, Chairman of the Board, along with board members and distinguished guests including Dr.Samy Ramadan, Deputy Head of the Customs Authority (representing the Minister of Finance), and Admiral Ehab Salah, Chairman of Alexandria Port Authority.
This new center is a key step toward enhancing cargo flow, streamlining customs procedures, and improving service efficiency. Developed in close cooperation with the Port Authority, Customs Authority, and relevant inspection bodies, the center functions as a single-window hub for the inspection and release of containers—excluding refrigerated and hazardous units. It officially commenced operations on Sunday, July 13, 2025.
The launch of this center reinforces ACCHCo’s commitment to operational excellence, continuous improvement, and leadership in the Logistics Performance Index (LPI). The company continues to invest in modernizing port operations, reducing truck turnaround times, and improving gate efficiency—ensuring fast, secure, and seamless service for all stakeholders.
