The Ministry of Transport is taking part in the 2nd edition of the Qatar Boat Show 2025.
The MOT is the Strategic Partner of the event. Numerous local and international entities specialized in maritime industries and services are participating in the Show, which runs through this Nov. 8 at the Old Doha Port.
An MOT booth at the Show highlights some of MOT’s digital maritime services available via the Darb application, which users can install and use anytime, anyplace, thereby saving them time and effort.
Using the Drab app, you can, among other services, register a new small craft, renew your registration, modify craft specifications, have a replacement of lost or damaged documents issued, and delete a craft. Users can also request their documents be delivered to their doorsteps via Qatar Post.
The booth also featured a mockup of the main station of the water taxi project in Lusail, as well as a visual presentation on its facilities. The project aims to provide modern waterborne public transit systems with cutting-edge ecofriendly technologies. The booth visitors can also participate in some competitions focused on maritime safety awareness.
The MOT booth saw a high turnout, with visitors showing eagerness to learn more about what the Ministry offers, such as digital services and forward-looking transportation and mobility projects in light of its MOT Strategy 2025-2030 and in step with the goals of the QNV 2030.
The MOT continues supporting specialized national events aimed at enhancing Qatar’s profile as a pioneering regional hub for maritime transportation and logistics services.
