The Arab Shipbuilding & Repair Yard Company (ASRY), a leading maritime industrial hub, took part in the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi, this November, held under the theme ‘Intelligent Energy for Accelerated Progress’.
Commenting on ASRY’s participation, Dr Ahmed Al Abri, ASRY’s CEO, said ‘Our presence at ADIPEC shows our commitment to supporting the energy sector’s shift and promoting innovative and sustainable practices across the maritime field. This event provides a unique platform to discuss the future of energy in the region, find workable solutions and alternatives that can support the growth of these industries, stay current with the latest developments, and examine the key issues and challenges facing these vital sectors around the world.’

This year’s edition drew wide participation, with a record turnout of more than 2,000 exhibitors from across the globe spread over 17 halls and 30 international pavilions. The program featured 12 conferences and 380 sessions alongside the exhibition, which serves as a global marketplace for firms operating in the region’s energy sectors
